We made it

Henry is a real trooper!!! He lasted 5 months with the stint in his eye, and he didn't pull it out once. That is pretty good considering he is 2 years old... He slept the whole way to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital this morning, slept through check-in, and woke up in time for nurses to check him out. I have to say he doesn't like being messed with first thing when he wakes up. He was mad!!! After they left we had about a half hour before it was time to go back to surgery, so he and I cuddled up and watched Little Einsteins. He was loving it. The anesthesiology team was amazing, they knew he was a fighter so the got the mask up and running so it would take half the time to put him under. That is always the hard part for me.... Holding him.... After he went under I was escorted out to the waiting room, but first I hit up the bathroom and had a good cry. I wasn't barely sitting down 10 minutes before they called me back to talk to the doctor. Unfortunately I ended up waiting on him for 20 minutes, because he had to take a call. After talking to him for a brief 12 seconds, I once again went to the waiting room, and waited forever for Henry to go back to recovery... I kept checking the board and it kept saying still in OR. I was getting a little worried. Thinking I already talked to the Dr. how come he is still in the OR. I found out that they actually intubated him as a precautionary measure because he had a cough. They also were kind enough to clean out some crap in either his lungs or his throat.. They also gave him an albuterol treatment in his I.V. When I finally got back to him he was out!! The nurse started taking out his IV ( at this point I almost passed out), and then his blood pressure cuff, and he slept through it all. The nurse and I chatted for about an hour, and then I said so even though I am enjoying this adult interaction, do I need to wait till he wakes up, or can I leave? So we finally left, the nurse had an orderly take me in a wheelchair holding henry so I didn't have to carry him as far. We got to the car, and he woke up for about 10 minutes then went back to sleep. During those 10 minutes I talked to him and told him no more tape, and that his tube was gone. He felt his nose and smiled. Then he slept all the way home and then for another 4 hours.. That will either be good or bad for us tonight. Tonight we gave him all the tape and told him to throw it away and say bye bye tape. He did so and then raised his hands up and said Hooray.. What can I say but that it has been a growing experience these past 5 months. It has been sleepless, emotional, and sometimes down right hard, but we made it....!!!! Hooray for Henry!!!! Now hopefully the duct will stay open...

Countdown

The countdown is on... Not for this pregnancy to end but for Henry to get his stint out of his eye... In exactly 8 days he will be having surgery, granted he doesn't get sick... I am saying my prayers.. If he does get sick we will probably have to wait another 2 months or so because of the doctors busy schedule and he only does surgery at the childrens hospital twice a month...... All I can say is that it has been a long 5 months and I am so excited for this thing to come out. I wonder if Henry will feel weird with it out. I might have to tape his nose for a while just so he can get used to it... Everyone else is doing well... William is off to Laramie this weekend for a geology job fair, we are hoping that he will be able to get an internship for next summer.. Jonah and Londyn are doing well in school. Brick is liking preschool. And Henry is talking like crazy.... As for me I am doing the usual cooking, cleaning, taking care of kids. I am so glad to be out of the first trimester. It was a hard 12 weeks, We will be finding 0ut what we are having in October. Londyn really wants a sister.. So we will see.!! I will update after Henrys surgery!!

Sunday, September 4, 2011

I asked Londyn to clean her room the other day. She came in and said come look at how I rearranged my room. This phrase makes me a little scared. Rearranging usually means messy which means more work for me. But here is how she wanted her room...

Back to school

Well as sad as I am for the summer to end.j/k I was so excited for school to start the amount of time my kids spent fighting the week before school I was ready.. Jonah started the 4th grade and he has two teachers. He seems to like his teachers. I hope this will be a good year for him. Londyn started the 1st grade. She was probably the most excited to go to school this year. She loves learning and being around people.. Brick is doing another year of preschool, and he seems to be doing better this year than last.. Heres to a new year!!!

Random!

Here are some random pictures from this summer... Henry fell asleep on Londyns bed one night, Henry in the toy room, and this is how We found Brick one night sleeping..

Summer fun

We had a lot of fun this summer. Something we did this year that we haven't really done in the past is every night we would go out and catch lightning bugs. The kids had so much fun. I wasn't feeling the greatest, So as you can see I am wrapped in a blanket.

Lincoln and Henry

A couple of months ago I watched Lincoln so Aug and Heather could look for a place to live in Cleveland. The boys had so much fun Friday and Saturday. They went swimming, played with toys, watched clips of movies. The are so cute together. I kind of got to experience what it would be like to have twins. It was exciting! Here are some pictures for his visit..

I took a test.... The test was positive.... I hid the test in my drawer.... It is still positive....Looks like we are going to have another baby join our family next year. Excited..Scared...Nauseous...Orney.... Just to name a few of my emotions. I went to my first OB appt, and since I have a history of miscarriages he wanted to have a blood test to see what my HCG levels were. He said it would be safe to say if my numbers were around 10,000 chances are good for carring the baby. Well I got my blood tests back and my HCG was 37,000.8. So they scheduled an ultrasound next week. I have been blessed with sickness earlier than any of my other pregnancy's. This pregnancy is bringing back memories of when I was prego with Londyn, because I had horrible stomach pains, and nausea.... It was cute the other night I told Henry I had a baby in my tummy, and he went around lifting up his shirt and pointing to his belly and saying baby. So he thought he had one in his tummy too. We feel blessed by this news, I was getting baby hungry and Henry is at a perfect age. The day after I told Londyn she was looking at me and smiling, I asked her what she was thinking about and she said I might get a little sister.... She is super excited!!!

Cousin time

Brick and Vance
Bryce and Henry- This is the second time Henry has curled up next to Bryce and gone to sleep. Very cute and nice for us. We might just have to keep him or make a cutout of him and put it in Henry's bed..

This past weekend I have been able to have Bryce and Vance at my house, and it has turned out to be a blessing with everything that has happened with Meghan. We have had so much fun with them here. They have added fun and excitement to our household.

My Buzz lightyear

I am sure many of you know that Henry loves Toy story!! I found this shirt and had to get it..
Henry still has his tube in his eye as you can see, and we are hoping it will come out in September for the sake of our sanity. He does really well with it during the day, but at night he doesn't sleep well he is up because he has taken the tape off and he is freaking out. But he is a trooper, and I am sure he will think it is so weird not having tape on his nose after september, but I will be one happy momma, and hopefully he will not have anymore problems with his eye...

Utah

My family with GRandma
This is for my sister ShaRee, She love my Grandma's hands
Love this women!!!
Henry and I with Grandma

While William was in still in Idaho, I wanted to go down and spend a few days alone with my good friend Driel in Utah. My first day down there I was able to go see my wonderful Grandma!! When I first saw her I started to cry. It had been a year since I saw her last. I had a great opportunity when we live in Utah to go visit her on Sundays and feed her dinner. Sunday was my special day with my special grandma. I hardly ever took my kids, because I knew my visit would be cut short, and to tell you the truth I just wanted to be with her... My grandma is AMAZING!! She gave birth to 13 amazing children, she has over 100 grandchildren, she has great grandchildren. She lived in a tent, she lived without electricity, she chopped wood to heat their house when she was pregnant. Every time I go to visit her I always ask her the same question, Grandma, How did you do it??? Of course she didn't answer me because she is not able to speak, but she would look up at me and give her famous Wanda smile...One day she will answer me and I can't wait for that day... I have so much love and respect for my grandma.

Wedding Dress

Londyn getting ready for Aunt Pearls Reception

Well I know it has been a long time, I cant decide if it is because I have been so busy or maybe because I have been anti blog.. I hope this post finds everyone well...
When we left for Idaho Londyn kept putting stuff in the suitcase, and I kept taking it out thinking she doesn't need that, or this. My little girl loves clothes! I still remember one time she told me I don't have style... Lets just say whatever she wear, she wear with confidence and every outfit is I am sure planned out in her head. One of the things I took out of the suitcase was a floor length dress that Londyn wanted to wear for her Aunt Pearls wedding. The dress was long sleeved and cute, but I thought since it had already been 100 here, the weather would be the same there. WRONG!!! I should know better that Idaho's summer never really starts till like July. Well here I was in Idaho and I didn't bring the dress Londyn wanted to wear so I was in search of a dress for her. Well what I thought would be nice, wasn't her idea of Wedding dress she called it. Her stipulation was that it had to touch the floor, twirl, and of course pretty. I went to Dillards and scored on some dresses for her that were on sale. This is one of the dresses, although I don't think she has worn it yet. Gotta love our Londyn!!!

Half Way

Well I am happy to say that we are half way there to having William back home again. 2 more weeks..... I have been blessed to have my mother in law here for a week, and now all I have is 11 more days. I think I can... I think I can... I think I can....

My Cleaning Fairy

My sister in law has cleaning fairy that seems to come to her house after they have left for a trip and their house is messy anyway she always seems to be suprised. I have to say I have been really jealous of her cleaning fairy and I kept saying I want one. Well this past week I have had one. My sweet Mother-in-law Karlee came out to stay with us for a week, and she has been amazing. I have found her constantly doing my dishes, cleaning the toy room, folding laundry, or drawing on the magnadoodles with Henry. She fold laundry much better that me, probably a lack of patience on my part. She has been here so I could go running, do errands, and most of all be another adult in our house. I told her today that she will have to tell William all the stuff she has done for me because it has made me super happy and he could take a few pointers. Tomorrow she leaves, my fairy leaves, what am I going to do without her???? Dishes will stack up in the sink, laundry will once again get neglected, and runs will be scarce. I remember when I told people that my mother-in-law was coming to stay for me a week while William was gone and the first response from almost everyone was "And you get along with her???" I just laughed because I have a awesome Mother-in-law and Father in law. THANK YOU KARALEE!!! I MADE IT ONE MORE WEEK WITH YOUR HELP!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Mini Corn Dogs

The other day we were at a awesome store named Jungle Jims and Londyns was begging me for Mini corndogs I told her no. I said that I would get some when we got home to Oxford. I didn't get any that day but I got some the next and she was really enjoying them. This morning she said that she wanted corndogs for breakfast, who am I to say no. So I got them for her, and when I when to put her plate in the sink this is what I saw.... she left the hot dogs and ate the breading... Silly Londyn

Random

My poor Bricky got a fat lip on Sunday from falling off the couch. His lip was huge on Sunday, Monday it was a little bit better, and the picture I took is from today.. Poor kid hasn't eaten much..

So far so Good

I am happy to report that Henry still has the stint in his eye, he hardly fusses with it. I used to have to change the tape when he was sound asleep, but I can now put new tape on during the day. That is a huge improvment for us. Also we have almost reached the 3 week mark. I cannot believe that he has done so well with it. The last week he has woken up the same time, cried, and told me nose, owie, tape off. So I know that I need to put new tape on. One night was a real struggle because the tape fell of but the string was stuck to the tape so I had to get the string off without ripping it. I managed to do it but now with some frustration and lots of prayers. I am looking forward to William coming home and taking over with the eye situation it has been so tiring....

Sunday, May 8, 2011

It is that time of year again when my husband leaves to go do field work. I wasn't showing much emotion till I realized that he leaves tomorrow and I am here to care for our 4 kids. It isn't exactly the send off I would want. I would have wanted a clean house, it looks as though 2 tornadoes have come though the house. That is partly due to not feeling well last week, planning a funeral luncheon, and playing a little too much Wii.(j/k on the Wii part) I did play a lot with Brick but not enough to get my house looking this bad. I am also probably going to be computer less. William has to take the computer out with him, and I just can't justify buying a new laptop... Anyway so if there aren't any posts for a while do not fret you hear from me again in June for sure if not sooner...... Wish me luck!!!

Happy Mothers Day

When I think of Mothers Day I think of the ultimate pampering, being weighted on hand and foot, you name it that is my ultimate Mothers Day. I have yet to enjoy that yet. My morning started out by telling the kids can you please not fight its Mothers Day or stop making a mess its Mothers Day. I am sure you get what I am saying. Well lets just say the kids could care less. GUILT did not work on them. I have to say though they were pretty good in church. The primary kids sang for the Mothers. We are in a Branch so there are only about 14 kids. 4 boys and 10 girls. So as the kids were singing away my sweet, tender 8 year old is standing up there acting too cocky to sing and chomping on his gum.... I am sure everyone noticed when he came and sat down and I told him to go throw away his gum. He relentlessly spit his gum in the program and sat down. Remember how at his 3rd grade Program the kids belted out the music but when it comes to singing in church he prefers gum chomping. After Relief Society all the kids ran looking for their mothers to give them their presents they had made. The were Hershey's Chocolate Bars, but they made their own wrappers that said Happy Mothers Day. I got the cover from Londyn, an actual chocolate bar from Brick, and Jonah scratched out the Happy Mothers Day and instead put Happy Fathers day.. I should probable say even though that sounds really mean people who know me know that I don't do Chocolate, because it gives me Migraines. So Jonah was kind enough to give William an early Fathers Day Present.. I used the phrase IT's Mothers day a few more times, but they just didn't care.
**My Mom has taught me so many things in my life, she has always been an example of countless service, perserverence through her many trials in life, and lots of love. Those who know my mom know that if you need anything done you go to Judy. She may not be able to drive, but she sure can use that phone. Over the past 6 years she has been doing a program in the community called Moms off Meth. I am pretty sure she has written a letter for so many people in that group to get them a job or send a note to the judge telling him how well they are doing. She not only serves her family, but she serves her community as well. Whenever we go to church with my parents we have to make sure we get there soon enough because my mom has adopted so many kids in the ward that they are now calling her Oma. If we don't get there on time we usually are not sitting with them. She is always concerned about others and how to best help them..Thanks for Being a great MOM and OMA!!!
**Another special woman in my life is my Mother-in-law. She is always so giving, she cares about others feeling, she loves each and every one of her children and grandchildren. She is creative, frugal, loving. She is always quick to forgive..I have to say I am pretty blessed to have Karlee as my mother-in-law. She and Ronald raised William in a way that he has a strong testimony of this gospel, he loves his Savior, He treats me with respect, and loves his children. By Karlee's example I would not have the husband I have today. THANKS!!! WE LOVE YOU!!
I have many other women in my life that I look up to, learn from, cry with, laugh with, and most of all love. I have been blessed with all these women in my life to help me grow and be a happy Michie. I was always taught that people learn by example, and I have to say I have learned that from my sister, Sister-in-laws, should be sister-in-laws, friends, and family. I have truly been blessed with so many influential women in my life. I can only hope that I can be as influential as these wonderful women.. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY AND FUTURE MOTHERS DAY TO ALL!!!

Saturday, May 7, 2011

Well we made it through the night and he still has the tube in. I found myself checking him every time he moved, which was a lot. At 1 he woke up and I had a feeling to put things in his hands, so I put a roll in one hand and a sippy cup in the other. It worked he ate the roll and drank the juice. At 3 he had rolled over so he was on his side so I held his hand. Then I just kept putting his sippy cup in his hand the rest of the night.. We made it!!! Only 3 months and 30 days to go...

Well today Henry had his second tear duct surgery. This time it was with a plastic surgeon for Children. We found out when Henry had his first surgery last March that he only had the lower punctum. The doctor told us he would probably be fine since the upper Punctum only did 20 percent of the job. Well unfortunately sweet Henry still has been having problems with his left eye. So we finally saw a specialist who did surgery today. After the surgery he came in and told us I looked with a microscope and he doesn't have the upper punctum, so he went ahead and tried to clear up two areas. When the water wouldn't flush through he took a probe through to open where it closed off. Then he took another probe and blew it up to stretch out the opening. He then took some silicone string through his lower punctum and through his nose and tied a nice knot on that sits nicely on his nose with medical tape.... When he told us about this I thought it cant be that bad. Well to maybe an adult no, but to a two year old who always picks his eye. Bad news. The Doctor said out goal is to keep it in for four months. After I saw it I am suprised we have made it through the day. I think he is getting more used to it, but tonight might be a little difficult. The hospital did give us arm boards to use. (it makes it so he can't bend his elbows. ) I am sure it is just as much torture as a dog who has to wear one of those lamps. When we first saw Henry he was still out and the nurse said she has never seen anything done like this before. Usually when they do this surgery the connect the upper and lower punctum's together and you don't see the silicone. Anyway I am HOPEFUL that it will last till it needs to to clear up the problem. Also the worst part is if the string breaks we just pull the string through. I have learned 2 things through this 1. If I put a piece of tape across my nose I am just like him and he likes that, and 2 putting eye drops in when he is sleeping is so easy compared to awake.. Here is to 4 months....

Jonah's third grade program

The other night was Jonah's third grade program. The theme was WestWard Ho. The themed it around Pioneers. It was cute to see some of the kids outifts..

Jonah

The other night Londyn must have been really annoyed with Henry because when I went in to do my nightly check she had on ear muffs!!!

Cleaner Fridge

I have emptied my fridge and gotten rid of anything that has sugar in it... Well I put the stuff I took out in the downstairs fridge just in case....I was suprised that I really didn't have too much stuff in there with sugar or high fructose corn syrup..

Well I survived giving my first lesson as RS president. It was a hard topic to do because I was worried how people would take it. I talked about Belonging. There is divide in our Branch you could say and I think it has gone on long enough. Anyway I don't remember too much what was said because the Spirit was really there. It is amazing how if you prepare what you need to the Holy Ghost will help you say things in a way that is not defensive or mean. Here is to a new week....

Last Day

TODAY WAS WILLIAM'S LAST DAY OF CLASS FOREVER..... FROM NOW ON IT IS JUST RESEARCH AND TA. NO MORE GRADES!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LETS CELEBRATE!!!!!!!

So you had a bad day!!!

Well this week has been a trying one...Different circumstance i have had to deal with, trying to plan a RS lesson, and just plain old life... I had a little melt down yesterday, and then today I was feeling sick. William thought it would be a good idea to massage my feet. And then Henry joined in, and Brick massaged my leg. It was so cute to see them doing this. It is amazing what a foot massage can do for mother. It was so nice. Henry got tired of massaging my feet so then he took lotion and started massaging his feet. Too cute!! Later this evening I was getting ready for bed, and William went to get Henry to put him to bed. He found him laying on the couch with Londyn rubbing his hair, and she said Shhh he is sleeping as William approached. It is times like these that make everything else seem so trivial....

Change

So people often say change is good......Two weeks ago William and I were called into the Branch President's office. I thought maybe William might be released from teaching the youth. But I was blindsided for sure. They wanted to release me as Young Women's President and asked me to serve as the Relief Society President. Usually I reply Yes pretty quick but this time I really struggled. I was sad to be leaving Young Womens and scared to death to be the RS president. I eventually said Yes. I then had to go back to YW's knowing what I knew and try to be normal. Yeah that didn't happen. I walked in and started crying, two of the girls were like what is wrong. I told them that I was getting released, they said I hope you are going to be in the Stake Young womens. Yeah nope to that too. After church on Sunday I still felt like I was off my game. I didn't think I could handle this calling. I already felt overwhelmed and stressed and I only had 5 girls in Young womens. I constantly reminded myself that the Lord wouldn't give me anything I couldn't handle. That week was a really hard week, I constantly doubted the calling, I reached my peak of stress, On thursday I felt like a pop ready to explode. I went on a twenty minute run that was some serious pavement pounding. I continued to have a stressful week until on Saturday. My parents were able to come over to a art show that Londyn was having, and I had asked my dad to give me a priesthood blessing. And as he laid his hands on my head all the anxiety and stress over this calling left, and I knew and felt that this was a calling from my Heavenly Father and I knew that I could do it. I felt like where I might be inadequate the Lord would be there willing to help me. Sunday was a day I might never feel again. I remember seeing someones face as they were releasing all these people from callings she was gasping. And as my name was called I stood up, but I struggled to stand up I was wobbly and really emotional, crying at this point, and I don't remember anything else after that point. But the way I felt was almost like the old RS's burdens were lifted and put on me as I stood up. I am excited and humbled that the Lord thinks that I can do this calling. So I am going to go foward with a lot of FAITH that the Lord will help me, HOPE that I will be able to let all the sisters know not only of my love for them, but the Savior's as well, and CHARITY the pure love of Christ.

Pictures of sweet babies like this make me want another one, but sleepless nights and nightmares of my last labor prevent me from doing so...

Jonah was mad

Jonah was mad today and he stomped into his room, slammed the door. I walked by his room to go to the restroom, and there was a note by his door that said, " I'm not coming out at all." Jonah. It was written in his best handwriting. I responded, " Sorry! I love you! See you tomorrow??" I was thinking sweet one kid down 3 to go. How can I make the other kids mad enough to go to their room and not want to come out until tomorrow??

Monday, March 21, 2011

I have enjoyed playing outside on the trampoline with my kids so much these past few days. I love seeing expressions they make, happiness when they accomplish something so little, and just enjoying being outside. I hope the weather continues. I have been enjoying anxiety free days now and it is so nice. I feel like a whole new person. As for the kids Jonah is excited that he is getting glasses. I noticed that he had been not doing so well in school and I asked him why and he said he couldn't see the board. So I got him in and he is just barely 20/40. So not too bad, but still enough to get some help. He is enjoying having friends over a lot. Londyn is reading like crazy. We have been trying to have the kids read their own scriptures at night. And last night Londyn read almost 4 all by herself. I kept asking if she wanted me to finish them and she said no. She is definately determined. She is enjoying her art class up at Miami University, and in a couple of weeks they are having an art show. She will eat that one up for sure. She loves attention. Brick is signed up for T-ball and will start this week I think. He is still enjoying preschool, and loves playing outside. He is hopefully going to be potty trained at night soon. Henry is doing lots of new things, new words, new everything. He loves to explore and say what's that if he hears a sound. He is into Toy Story big time. He loves life!!! He enjoys staying up later than the rest of the kids to have some mom and dad time. I love when he first wakes up and he runs out of usually our room, hugs me, and I ask him if he slept well and he says YES>. William is in doing some serious testing at school right now to determine if we keep going on with the PhD or if we are done. So prayers are welcome. Ever since he finished his masters thesis he is so much more carefree. To think he could have felt that way about a year ago. Anyway I love him for who he is , what he does for our family. The strength he gives me when I have had a hard day. I love him for this. As for me I am enjoying trying new things, Like making bagels for the first time, or reading books and not caring about laundry to fold, or just playing ball with my kids. We are continuing to love Ohio. for now adios!

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

While I was reading scriptures tonight I was reading in 2 Timothy 4:7 it says, "I have fought a good afight, I have bfinished my course, I have kept the faith." I then looked at the footnotes and the footnote for fight was contentment. The footnote for finished was dedication. After reading this scripture about 10 times and then the footnotes I decided I want to be like Paul and when my time is done on this Earth, I can stand before my Savior and I can say I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept my faith. With the same contentment and dedication that Paul had.

Sunday, March 6, 2011

As I look back on the last couple of weeks of things that have happened not necessarily in our lives but in lives of people we care about. We have felt sadness, despair, anger, but thorough this we have grown closer to each other and especially to the Lord. I have had more of a renewed determination to do what is right, do better scripture study, have more meaningful prayers, but mostly to strengthen our family. I have seen Satan destroying families all over the world, and it makes me sad to see it. On one particular day I was really struggling with some bad news and I was angry. I was also so sad inside. As I was driving to the gym, I was thinking about how when Christ was in Gethsemane he was in so much pain for each one of us. And here I was feeling so much pain for people we care so much about. What I felt was so little compared to what Christ felt. But I still felt it and it made me have more love for my Savior, that he would be willing to go through so much pain for each one of us. I usually don't do a soap box on my blog, but I wanted everyone to know that I know that families can be together forever, and it is not a matter of if Satan will tempt us or those we love it if a matter of when he will and everyone that reads my blog are my friends and family who I care deeply about and I can't stand to see Satan win anymore. So as of now I will be trying harder to protect my family so we can be together forever. I know this church is true!!! I have a testimony in Joseph Smith, I can't believe that at a young age of 14 he wanted to find the true church, I know that Christ loves me, I know that we are only given trials that we are able to handle, those trials help us become better people. I know that families can be together forever, and I want that more than anything. I am sure everyone else does to. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life, it makes me who I am and it makes me want to be a better person. Stay strong!! Love Michie

Happy Birthday Henry!!

Our sweet Henry turned 2 on thursday! I can't believe he is already 2. The time has flown by so fast. I often see him playing with all his toy story figurines. Did I mention how obsessed he is with his toy story toys and the movies. He goes to bed with all his toys in container, wakes up and you cannot get him out of his bed without all his toys. He is very polite and says please and thank-you which I think is so cute hearing a 2 year old say. He still refuses to go to nursery and he kind of has a snobby side to certain people. He used to call me mommie, but it has changed to Mama! He loves wrestling with the older kids and often he might just come over and hit one of the kids just so they know that he will not be taken down easily. So sorry in advance if he ever comes over and bops your kid... He will then proceed to say sorry.. It was the sadest thing weaning him from his bottle, because I thought they he would grow up and he wouldn't be my little baby, but rest assured he is still my little baby.. Right now he is sitting next to Londyn playing Jonah's DS. It is cute. He doesn't know what he is doing but he loves it. Out of all our kids I think he is the most talkative at this age. He will just talk and talk to you or to himself in his bed at night. There is nothing cuter that hearing kids talk for the first time. Henry is named after my wonderful grandpa with his middle name after President Hinckley. (Bitner) I am so happy to be his momma and to have him in our home. Happy Birthday Henry We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Brick!!

On Feb 24 sweet Brick, Brickly diego, Brickel bottom, turned 4 years old. When I look at him I still think he is a baby, but he is not. For his birthday Henry, Brick, and Josh( Bricks friend) we went to Chuck E Cheese with strict instructions from Brick that I tell the cashier that he did not want to see Chuck E Cheese. He is still afraid of the big mouse. Poor Kid. I remember going to Chuck E Cheese in Columbus and I hear some kid screaming and running towards me only to realize it is my own son, Brick. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, he calmed down enough to tell me that Chuckie was out. I looked everywhere and didn't see him But Jonah said he left a few minutes ago. He tells us sometimes 0ut of the blue that he is no longer afraid of him. Yeah Right. As far as Bricky goes he is friendly, computer savvy, 4 year old. He know how to run the computer, his DS he is mastering, he enjoys going to preschool. His teacher has commented on how cute Brick is when they say there snack prayer. How he bows his head and closes his eyes and repeats the prayer. He loves primary, he loves calling people cranky pants. Even when they aren't cranky. Or he says Zip it Clitus randomly to you. He still is such a cuddle bug, he still asks for his silkies at night. that is probably why I think he is still a little boy. Brick is such a joy in our lives.. We love him so much! Who loves Brick!
